Does Islamophobia really exist? Or is the hatred and abuse of Muslims being exaggerated to suit politicians’ needs and silence the critics of Islamic interpreters?

Certainly, the bald figure of a ’25 percent increase’ suggests heavy handed policing and continual harassment. The trouble with Islamophobia is that it is an irrational concept. It confuses hatred of, and discrimination against, Muslims on the one hand with criticism of Islam on the other. The charge of Islamophobia is all too often used not to highlight racism but to stifle criticism. And in reality discrimination against Muslims is not as great as is often perceived - but criticism of so-called interpreters of Islam that have brought a bad name to the religion should be greater.

If it comes to religion based discrimination we all know that it was not a Muslim who made the first nuclear bomb and killed thousands of innocents!

Its not religion thats bad its people who are evil and manipulate it to their evil acts. Today God is not in the different religions but in the goodness with in man!

Tha Arabic meaning of Islam is peace. But the hatred preached by its so called religious skippers and their association with global terrorist forces are certainly creating Islamophobia in the minds of non-Muslims.

The cause lies more in the inherent weakness of the Muslim society to accept and adopt democracy,show tolerance towrds other faiths forgetting the historical actions carried by the power of swiord in the middle ages and free themselves from the control hawkish religious captains who seem eager to concentrate ploitical and temporal authority in their persona.

It is really appaling to see many followers of Islam suuporting violence and global terrorist outfits to vent their anger against the discrimination of the west and the western powers engulfing the division further treating Muslims as second rate humans.

I think ”Islamophobia” is a term coined by those arrogants whose interests coflict with the popularity of Islam. Remember these arrogants also created the phrase ”war on terror”. That they have become a terror themselves is for everybody else to see. One should accept the fact that Islam is one of the most widely followed religions in the world. The clash between the muslims and the west arises because of the fact that both try in vain to assert their supremacy. Nostradamus’ predictions were indeed right.#postcomment
