A great and informative interview indeed!

I truly agree with Craig >>>>>>there is a growing trend of providing less and less real involvement and information to the public on matters associated with the disposal program.

Mr Craig E. Williams, fighting the American Army over safe disposal of chemical weapons of mass destruction is akin to a David and Goliath contest.

By taking on the most powerful organization in the world to put out its Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) in a manner that it does not cause an environmental catastrophe, does need extra ordinary courage.

The rules don’t apply to Armed Forces, anywhere. In the first place their main expertise lies in combat, and why should they bother about mundane routine issue like environment pollution and global warming.

Mr Williams, you have sensitized the American and the global citizen, how lightly the issue of disposing of chemical weapons is taken by the US lawmakers.

Going to war over the non-existent WMD in Iraq will haunt President George Bush for life but he could refurbish his sagging popularity by formulating policies that protect the earths environment by safely destroying the huge stockpile of chemical weapons lying in America’s arsenal.

In reality, no American was ever threatened by a Iraqi Weapon of Mass Destruction. The American president only raked up an issue to justify a War, that should never have been started.

However, the US citizen across different cities lives in the shadow of real danger as heavy and potentially very damaging weaponry, including WMD lie stored close to big civilian populations across American cities.

Unless people like Mr William’s don’t take up environment issue, which deserve precedence over defense one, the world;’s fragile environment is sure headed for disaster.

Awarding Craig E. Williams for his courageous battle to contain environmentally damages chemicals from seeping into the environment, is the least that a conscious people could do.

The indepth interview does bring insight into a very sensitive issue and deserves credit.
