In order to get the temp displayed (it should be in raised plastic letters on the back of the clock) you have to put the batteries in the outside transmitter first, then put them in the clock and wait for the temperature to display. Then set the clock. It’s kind of a PITA, but that’s how you have to set it.

I have followed the instructions to the letter numerous times and the thing still does not work withe md41199 transmitter (sensor).
When I take the clock within the range of another transmitter of an EnviroStation transmitter it picks up the signal and displays the time, temp, et al.
So the md41199 is busted and there is no way to replace it that I have found.

She through out thr instuctions on reprogramming it on me and i was hoping you could help.the only model number i can give you is md41199 on the back of the clock i cant seem to get it to display th outside temp. I have changed the batteries and have let it sit. Now i am living in a metal mobile home and am wondering if the sheiling on the trailor will effect it.
