True the bill was passes through the House but it still must travel through the Senate to offically be ratified by the state. In past times the bill has always been shot down in the Senate but I’m hoping that with the turn out of the Tulsa Tattoo Convention that Senate will think twice and hopefully pass it.
On May 10th, Governer Henry signed Senate Bill 806, which will legalize/regulate tattooing in Oklahoma. This bill will go into effect November 1st, ’06. In the meantime, the Oklahoma Department of Health will be determining appropriate standards.

We’ve been personally involved in the process for many years, so we’re very excited!
