The AKC/Eukanuba National Championship is the largest, most respected annual dog show in the United States and this year it will take place in Long Beach, California at the Long Beach Convention Center on Saturday, December 2nd and Sunday, December 3rd, 2006. The show will air live on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel on both the 2nd and 3rd from 8-11 PM ET/PT.

The best purebred dogs in the ENTIRE country will compete amongst each other under one roof. This year over 4,000 canines have been invited and the stakes are high – these canines will strut their stuff for over $225,000 in cash prices, as well as for the National Champion title. Last year Ron Reagan hosted, as did dog show veteran Lee Arnold and renowned dog show judge Edd Biven.
