North Korea finally proves that it has the “capability to cope” by successfully conducting the nuclear test despite worldwide protests and criticism.
It hardly matters now that the White House calls the move “provocative” and China rebuff it as “brazen”, the North Korean regime has no doubt openly chosen an isolated path in a view to achieve individual sovereignty in the name of nuclear armament.
North Korea’s statement that the underground test had brought “happiness to our people” clearly reflects the triumphant mood of the populace.
According to South Korean media, the test took place in Gilju in Hamgyong province at 1036 (0136 GMT), and even U.S. and Japan have confirmed detection of seismic waves in the country, though the specifications of the bomb are yet to be confirmed.
Diplomats around the world are planning for an emergency UN Security Council meeting to monitor the situation and take immediate action against the act that has undoubtedly jeopardized the world security but unleashing a new nuclear age.

India has a good chance to save the deal as it may highlight the Pakistani link to North Korea’s nuclear program and its consequence on security and stability in the region.
This is nothing but wild goose chase of “Me too.”
Ironically North Korea never had any axis, but Bush’s manner of accusation had made North Korea withdraw from the Non-Proliferation Treaty, long back to pursue a nuclear build-up. Not every country is like India to accept the North-South divide and wait humbly to hear it from the US-Senate.
The nuclear divide is beginning to narrow with North Korea’s successful tests, leading nuclear deterrence as per ’Article VI commitment’ appear as a vague as the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
What has India got to do with that? Also, does testing a bomb reflect power? Nuclear weapons are just for deterrence, not for bombing a country into annihilation. Only Uncle Sam did it during the WW II.

After all there is a country that has the capability to stand at bay before world powers
