north-korea-nuke-test_18North Korea created ripples around the globe announcing to go ahead with its first nuclear test despite international pressure.

The horrendous idea clearly depicts North Korea’s maneuver to bring White House face-to-face on the negotiating table and lift economic sanctions. North Korea has not yet disclosed the exact date of the test; however, American intelligence officials are reluctant to believe that any such test is in the offing despite the fact that North Korea possesses massive plutonium fuel stock and is quite capable of executing its hideous plans.

North Korea’s Foreign Ministry clearly stated on Tuesday:

The U.S. extreme threat of a nuclear war and sanctions and pressure compel the D.P.R.K. to conduct a nuclear test, an essential process for bolstering nuclear deterrent, as a self-defense measure in response.

North Korea indicated long back that the nation possesses a “nuclear deterrent” but this is the first time it has declared it in the open, challenging global powers and asking them to accept North Korea as a well-established “nuclear power”.

No doubt, it’s a provocative action and would further isolate the North Korean regime, which has already lost grounds as a security-stabilizing nation. However, only time will tell, how far North Korea is prepared to take on the heat from China, Japan and the rest of the global community which would certainly never tolerate fresh nuclear tests by any nation.

The after effects of such tests will be extremely disasterous for the environment.

Well, every nation with the US at the top of the list starts pulling the leg of every country that conducts nuclear test or announces to do so while most of them have done the same before. I know that the Cold War is on lynching the threat of nuclear devastation over us but as North Korea has stated about the U.S. threat of a nuclear war the reason to opt for nuclear test, I strongly have no objections. In nutshell, Self-Defense is a good answer to every question.

I think the whole world is creating much ado about nothing. when other world powers are amassing huge weapons, which also include nuclear weapons then whole world is keeping mum but when small countires like Noth korea are planning to do so then whole world, especially world powers are coming out to rebuke these small countires.

This is all because we are watching the whole scenario with colored glasses.

I firmly believe that the ethics should be same, no matter country is small or huge world power.

Conducting Nuclear Tests have always been a debatable topic. Some advocate it for self defense while others are against it on the grounds of ethics. I firmly believe that there should be ban on these testings as they not only are hazardous for environment but also inhumane and unethical. Nations should mutually find a srategical solution to this chaos.

useless controvery what is needed to ensure that such weapons might not get into terrorists hands otherwise after making korea will not target straitway other countries. the whole clamour is US generated otherwise US could have taken harsh step when kadir khan had accepted his indulgence in nuc weapon leak. its nothing but to create a state of awe all around the world and establish US supremacy. if some one has the capacity what is chief requisite, the need to make them responsible contry otherwise everyone knows the aftermath on weapon use

Since China, Japan, South Korea, UK and also UN Security Council are against the nuclear test so I guess, North Korea should avert the idea of going ahead with the plan. It’ll bring nothing but destruction, devastation and suffering with its wake.

North Korea should realize that by going ahead with the nuclear test would not be instrumental in projecting a strong nation instead its effects gonna be disastrous.

US is showing repulsive behavior against N.K nuke test!! There is nothing new with this because if we take Indian nuke tests, those were also performed under debates. So I think N.K has nothing to worry about, because I remember well the day 28 May 1998 when Pakistan announced that it has carried out five serial nuke tests. What was approach of US against Pak that time? Also between1945-92, a short span of 47 years, US performed a huge test series 1054 nuclear tests and two nuclear attacks. So, I really don’t find it genuine for the big powers to create such a hype regarding the North Korea’s nuclear test.

As far the US is concerned it has no right to pressure the North Koreans to stop them from conducting their nuclear tests , the reason being US is the worlds biggest nuclear power maybe not in terms of resource potency but certainly it terms of possesing the weapons ... The US does not let the world know about their own tests but at the same time they get aggrevated at the thought of some other nation doing the same ... thus itll be a good answer for the americans who believe they can pratice their free will and propel others to follow their instructions.
However , these tests are not good for humanity on the whole ...

Every nation has the liberty to go ahead with it nuclear policy... the big fives have this habit of poking their nose in every nations internal policies , just let me know who among the big5’s have not gone ahead with the nuclear tests, it was the same case when India was to go ahead with its nuclear test and now it is the same pressure being imposed on the Korean’s... why are there different polices for them and for the other nations... Every nation has the right to security, though I believe it shouldn’t be at the cost of humanity...but North Korea is only testing their Nuclear weapons not using them.

I think America wants to create another Iraq in N. korea...I firmly apose this American policy of jumping into conclusions.

another rat race to become nuclear efficent. nothing more than a ego satisfying move by north koreans. it happned in south asia now its in korean penninsula. the world should have tackeld the problem in its bud not now when its fully grown and north koreans can treten their neighbours with the nuclear weapons.

Conducting such nuclear tests will definately have adverse effects on the allready disturbed environment.Country like North Korea who posseses massive plutoniom fuel stock should be stopped from conducting such hazardous tests by the global community. Moreover, self-defence is not a good answer to every question.
