Don’t worry if Sony has slaughtered its Aibo, Jindo is here to lick you up. This new touch sensitive robot dog introduced by Korean inventor Eungsang Park will definitely take advantage of Aibo’s demise and soon built his own territory....

Interesting post. Just want to mention that the name being analogous a hindi word is coincidental and mentioning it seems kind of superfluous unless you are into hindi. Jindo is a Korean word and seeing that the inventor is Korean, that’s prob the language he was going for. But then again, it’s all east asian right?

Jindo is alive in Rajasthani which is derived from Sanskrit just as Hindi is. Jinda is the word in Hindi.
India is not an East Asian country. It is a South Asian country.
