I completely disagree with the list. Sir Tim Berners-Lee ( who created World Wide Web) comes second there. If it were not for him, there would have been no Larry Page and Sergey Brin of Google. And Mark Zuckerberg comes 3rd? Whoa!!! Some shitty list that.

That list doesn't include Sabeer Bhatia, the co-founder of Hotmail, the world's first free Web-based email system that any one can use! If you take out email from Internet this would be an useless thing. What a screwed up list that is.

The internet wouldn’t be useless. It is still a massive database for which one can look up numerous creditable sources to use for projects and papers.

Kevin Rose made it, but none from the house of Microsoft. Without the groundbreaking Windows 95 operating system the Internet would have been as it was before it. This is one of the most ridiculous lists I have ever come across. Digg is a complete liftoff from slashdot with a few news things thrown in like removing editorial control. Come on, you must be kidding.

All the people in the list have made the revolution called Internet possible. Today we can't think of a life without Internet though we may be able to survive without electricity. I agree with Gaurav that Bhatia's name should have been there right at the top.

I think both Bill Gates of Microsoft (for creating Windows) and Tim Berners-Lee (creator of World Wide Web) should be on the top - position one and two respectively. Tim Berners-Lee created World Wide Web three decades back but the revolution came only after Windows 95. The rest are just party gatecrashers.

Agreed. I believe Gates had a lot to do with the internet and how it was morphed and run.
